But fret not, my friend. I've been there for first-time buyers, guiding them through every step, and patiently explaining the ins and outs. I've helped couples refinance to free up money for debt payments or investments. I've been the guiding light for clients going through significant life changes, navigating the sale and purchase of two separate homes. Everyone's needs and situations are unique, but you can count on me to be right there with you, helping you find your way through the mortgage maze.

Seeing how the big banks and financial corporations treat clients as mere numbers in the mortgage process, I knew there had to be a better way. When I bought my first home, I felt like just another statistic. Nobody explained anything to me, no mortgage options were presented, and I had no idea what to expect from the process. I was certain there had to be a more customer-oriented approach.

Born and raised in the Edmonton area, I’ve always thrived in fast-paced environments, and with my passion for action sports, I rarely spent a weekend at home. Building a career that allows me to work across both Alberta and British Columbia as a mortgage broker, feels like a natural fit.

I graduated from the University of Alberta in 2024 with a degree in finance and a certificate in real estate. During my studies, I served on the executive teams of several student organizations, most notably NXT-GEN uAlberta, where I helped advance financial literacy and entrepreneurial development for the younger generation. I was raised in Edmonton in a family of seven, so it’s safe to say there was never a dull moment in our household. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of spending time with my siblings, especially on the backyard rink my dad built each winter.

After high school, I attended a small university in the Midwest United States. In 2014, I graduated with a degree in Business Administration and returned home to begin a career with TD Bank. Over the next ten years, I worked in a variety of mortgage-related roles, spending the majority of that time as a mortgage underwriter. I was drawn to the fast-paced, ever-changing environment that required constant problem-solving. More recently, underwriting for Mike Brandsma at a mortgage brokerage has allowed me to deepen my knowledge of mortgage products and processes while continuing to find creative solutions for our clients.

In my free time, you’ll find my fiancé and me cheering on the Oilers in the winter or soaking up as much sun as possible in the summer.
