I was raised in Edmonton in a family of seven, so it’s safe to say there was never a dull moment in our household. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of spending time with my siblings, especially on the backyard rink my dad built each winter.
After high school, I attended a small university in the Midwest United States. In 2014, I graduated with a degree in Business Administration and returned home to begin a career with TD Bank. Over the next ten years, I worked in a variety of mortgage-related roles, spending the majority of that time as a mortgage underwriter. I was drawn to the fast-paced, ever-changing environment that required constant problem-solving. More recently, underwriting for Mike Brandsma at a mortgage brokerage has allowed me to deepen my knowledge of mortgage products and processes while continuing to find creative solutions for our clients.
In my free time, you’ll find my fiancé and me cheering on the Oilers in the winter or soaking up as much sun as possible in the summer.
